The Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of the United Farm Workers

Celebrate Filipino American History Month by watching this inspirational documentary about the Filipino Americans who started the Delano Grape Strike and created one of the greatest social justice movements in America.

Little Manila is proud to present The Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of the United Farm Workers by Emmy-Award winning filmmaker Marissa Aroy. We will also be showing other films by Aroy: the documentary Little Manila: Filipinos in California's Heartland and short film Talunang Manok. Total run time for all three films is 70 minutes.

A panel including director Marissa Aroy, Dr. Dawn Mabalon, Debra Louie and moderated by Emil Guillermo will follow.
